Get to know me

I'm deeply curious about people—their dreams, desires, and everyday challenges. With a analytical mind, I'm good at viewing problems from multiple angles and coming up with solutions.

My creativite side fuels a constant flow of ideas, driving my passion for design. These qualities make me a good designer, continuously striving to become a great one.

Background

I grew up on the picturesque west coast of Sweden in Kungshamn, and have always loved everything creative—painting, photography, architecture, and design. This passion led me to pursue a degree in Industrial Design Engineering at Luleå University of Technology, where I combined creative thinking with problem-solving.

During my time there, I built a solid foundation in design knowledge and immersed myself in Human-Centered Design. I made lifelong friends, started two sororities, and met my partner, Hampus. After graduating in 2019, Hampus and I moved to Stockholm to begin our professional careers in the tech industry.

In 2022, we achieved a dream by purchasing a sailboat, Beda—a 32-foot Comfort 32 from 1980. Our current life revolves around our ambitious and driven professional pursuits, while spending our free time with family, friends, and Beda, our beloved sailboat.

Career

I began my career at Levels Venture Studio as a Junior Designer and stayed for over four years. Levels, a venture studio, shared both upside and risk with its clients through equity deals, focusing primarily on startups and scale-ups. They offered expertise in design, development, project management, and product strategy, providing pure equity, split equity-cash, or consultancy deals.

Thriving in the startup ecosystem, I quickly advanced from junior to senior roles, ultimately becoming UX Lead. Initially focused on UX due to my analytical background, I expanded my skills to product design, covering the entire design process from concept to final pixel. As a lead, I worked with a team of 7-10 designers, involved in hiring, coaching, and fostering a strong design community.

Seeking more continuous discovery and a product-focused role, I transitioned to Carnegie as a Senior Product Designer, eager to delve into the complex and intriguing world of fintech.

Core Values

Empathy

Empathy is the cornerstone for any product designer. It's not just about understanding users but also connecting deeply with colleagues and people in general. This fundamental value shapes my approach, fostering a design ethos that is both human-centered and collaborative. To me, empathy is the bedrock of meaningful and impactful design, allowing us to create products that truly resonate with and enrich the lives of those who use them.

Continous Learning

There is always room for growth and innovation, both personally and in the products we create. One of the greatest joys in life is the continuous journey of learning and evolving.

Innovation

Embracing creativity and a forward-thinking mindset to develop unique, effective solutions and drive progress in design. Innovation ensures that designs not only meet current needs but also anticipate future challenges and opportunities, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and fresh perspectives.
